"Gorgeous dress but because I need a 12 for by chest, there was far too much fabric around the waist and it awkwardly stuck out. I think if they had may the skirt maybe half a metre slimmer it would be more flattering. Shame though because I really loved it"

Not the same cut as the Black 'Blythe' dress
"I bought the black Blythe dress when it came out and the cut on it is SO flattering, so when the burgundy/ red one came out I really wanted it in another colour. But - they are not the same cut! The bust area on the red is tighter (I am a size 40DD and the UK size 16 just fits, but is tight) but the strange part is the skirt. The waistline sits higher than the black one, and the fabric has been gathered and then attached to the bodice, giving a large extra volume that sticks out in a not very flattering way. The black dress is a flat skirt panel (not gathered at the waist) that has been pattern cut in a really flattering way. Why did the pattern cutting change? I can only think it is saving money on overall fabric usage as this skirt is cut diagonally and not fully across. Anyway, if cinched in with a belt it is wearable and looks nice, but I almost sent it back - but love the colour. Disturbia - why change a really successful design?"
