A new staple in my wardrobe!

"I love this dress and have gotten so many compliments wearing it! Originally I got a size 12 as was recommended (and the size of the other dress I have from here) but it was so baggy around the chest and armpits so I swapped it for a size 10 and it fit much better! It was a little creased out of the bag but doesn't dry creased after washing which is good. Material is heavy and really good quality and the cut is very flattering. It's been a life saver over the summer! Looks cute with or without a top underneath and I can't wait for the colder months because I think this is a year round dress - especially because it has pockets!!"

Great dress, may need slight alterations

"I like this dress very much! I am 5’5” and 140 lb, and this dress was true to my usual size UK 10. However, the neckline gaped and did not sit flat on the bust, and the armhole gaped under the armpit but fit snugly against my ribs everywhere else. I probably had these fit issues because of a smaller bust, so if you do not have a small bust measurement for your proportions, you may not run into this problem! It didn’t seem to be a fit issue that could be solved by sizing down because it fit snugly on my waist and ribs, so I took it to a tailor to fix the fit. Overall great dress that I am very happy with, but the potential need for alterations may be something to keep in mind!"

Ok with some adjustments

"I love that it's made from a warm flannel-like fabric, and am for sure going to use it until it falls apart. The fit is overall good, but I had to take it in around the bust (my measurements are H112, W92, B113), which was lucky because I noticed the fabric tearing at the seam in one armhole after the first wash (before I had even worn it). The adjustment itself was an easy fix, and the texture of the fabric hides most of the extra stitches I put in. I sadly didn't think of taking a picture of the tear until I had already altered the garment."

"Buyed as a work dress. Works for winter with an Shirt under it. But the neckline is too low to wear it without a undershirt. And the length is a bit too short of the office. . . let's see if coworkers will complain. . . The fiting is a bit too big. I need to sew it smaler on waist fr it to fit. Maybe a belt wil do the job too."

"You definately need to wear something under this dress. the belt style fell apart after 2 washes and will need to be resewn - unfortunately typical of slipping disturbia's quality now days. But if you can get it in the sale it is flattering - just be prepared to have to fix it."

Lovely dress, bad sizing :(

"I usually love Disturbia dresses - it’s one of my favourite shops for alt clothing! But sadly, this one was a miss for me. The pattern and material are lovely, but the sizing was off. I ordered the recommended size based on the website, and while the skirt part was slightly loose (nothing a belt couldn’t fix), the top half was too large. The chest and back area felt empty and the overall fit just didn’t sit right. If you’re short and pear-shaped like me, I’d recommend sizing down from what the website suggests."
