"Very flattering trousers! The only negative thing is the adjustment strap at the back, it causes the "folded" area on the trouser to "pop out" awkwardly and needs to be readjusted manually every now and then"

"These have become my favourite trousers almost immediately. There so comfy, the fabric is soft, they're well made, there's adjustment at the back to help with fit and the embroidery is adorable. I'm definitly getting some more of these when I can."

Loved them, wore them twice and now they’re broken

"So I loved these, the fit the styling everything. I washed them once and wore them for the second time yesterday and they split straight down the seam when I took them off last night (excuse the cat hair everything is hers to sit on). They will cost me more to fix than to buy sadly"

Perfect look, but faulty tailored

"I loved the design, the colour, the fabric, the embroidery, but… When ordered size s, I could pull them on but they were looking too loose, billowing excessively around the bum, and hips. So I ordered xs. Although waist and tights measurements aligned perfectly with my body, I couldn’t pull them on because of the opening was to narrow. There should have been an extra button or concealed zip,to make these pants more woman -body-friendly."

Perfect!

"I bought these trousers as I had previously purchased the Dianne balloon in a similar colour way. These trousers have beautiful detailing on the waist and fit much the same. I feel they’re very flattering on my hips and bottom, and work very well with a blouse or T-shirt depending on occasion."

My favourite pants but…

"Love these pants… but. They ripped on the first wear all the way down the front middle seam. The three buttons do not allow for enough room to get over your hips. There should be a zip or stretchy fabric. Very upsetting. When they are on they fit PERFECTLY. But getting them on and off is impossible without ripping"

Are these Downton Abbey or Middle Earth?

"Part of my first ever Disturbia order which was mainly higher waisted trousers/jeans. I go for a size 12 in Next jeans. The sz 10 Marwood Acorn trousers feel roomy and flattering, are different to anything I've worn for a while and the embroidery is just delightful. The look sits somewhere between Downton Abbey feminist and Middle Earth Hobbit/Wood Elf. And I have a waist again. It would have been interesting to try an 8, I am pretty sure they would also have fitted. Generous sizing. Since then I took advantage of the Twilight sale to add some more tops to go with the trousers. I was delighted to receive a free pair of size 6 Woodruff Embroidered Balloon Leg Trouser with my order and can just about get in them. Similar vibe, but they are just a bit shorter then the Marwood Acorn (maybe as a smaller size) but are also flattering and comfortable. Both look good with boots and slightly cropped tops finishing at the waist. The Acorns are more of a Chestnut brown and the Woodruffs more neutral."

Belle coupe

"Alors clairement si vous faites moins de 1m60, l'effet du pantalon ballon ne sera pas le même que sur la photo. Il n'empêche que ce pantalon est vraiment beau. Il manque d'une ouverture plus large."
