Nice print but fabric lets it down

"I really wanted to like this dress - the print is pretty and it’s nice to have some colourful options as my Disturbia wardrobe is mainly black. The snakes are so subtle I didn’t see them until I looked more closely (they’re the dark parts for blind people like me!) Unfortunately the fabric is not a nice soft velvet but feels stiff and cheap. I also got the smallest size (I’m usually either a 6 or an 8 in Disturbia) but was swamped in it. I do like that it has pockets - this should be standard for ALL dresses and skirts that have enough fullness for them. Unfortunately the over sized style and feel of the fabric meant that I returned this."

"After reading one of the reviews left on this garment I was a bit unsure about what to expect quality-wise, and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The material is a nice thick velvet, what makes it feels "cheaper" is the print. I am sure that the print won't stand wear all that well considering it is a glitter print, but that is to be expected of this sort of print. If you don't have a bigger bust I would probably size down. I ordered my usual size, and it fits snugly over the bust, while leaving me a lot of room at the waist. Still a very flattering dress for my curves. And it does have pocketssess!"
