"5'4, size 14, bought size 14. This skirt has a lot going on, the hanky hem leaves a gorgeous mystery at your ankles, and the little denim ribbons coming out the skirt with a D-ring or what not attached is useful and gives the skirt an effortless punk / grunge look. The rip design on the front and back add to that distressed feel. Only downside to that is the righthand side back pocket has these deliberate rips on it, I do feel that could pose a risk to losing items or the fabric being damaged. The waist is adjustable! Via little poppers on either side of the waist of the garment. Which is incredible as someone who bloats, I can easily adjust the waist on how comfortable I feel and the time of day it is. If I leave the poppers on the first setting it runs loose on me, if I move one of the poppers on either side to the second popper, the garment fits perfect, both poppers on their second popper leaves the garment a snug fit or tight after bloating. Has belt loops for a belt! This skirt is BUILT for being adorned with accessories, or going with a heavily accessorised outfit. I was concerned about the deliberate bleaching/fading of the garment over the privates / crotch / backside in the photos on the website, but I believe this has been edited in after, as in person, the garment does show signs of fading but not extreme like the photos on the website, this I am happy about. :)"
