The only thing I would do differently is measuring myself again before ordering it, because they are a little bit loose on my middle. But that was totally on me and not you. "I originally bought the black version which I found ran large, sized down on this one and it’s still large. Usually a uk26 on the bottom but comfortably wearing the uk22 and could probably size down again. Good staple work wear for winter, the plaid is probably a smidge thinner than the black."
