Cute but not fit for purpose
"I waited to purchase this on sale, and glad I did as it has major design flaws and I can't believe it was originally going for nearly 100 pounds. The snake fell off immediately when I wore it for the first time, now lost in the London streets somewhere. There is only one button and because of the large design of the coat, the button comes open often. Without sufficient buttons, the winter wind cuts straight through and the jacket is useless for keeping out the cold on a bicycle. This is definitely a fashion piece, not intended for actual winter wear. The sizing is definitely off; I went with reviewers' suggestions and went down a size and the jacket is still large, but more fashionably so. I'm 5'9/190lb and usually wear a size 16, I got a size 14. I appreciate the large pockets and the vegan material. Wish it had more buttons and thicker material so as to be fit for purpose."

"Definitely size down! Initially had to exchange my usual size for a smaller size, and it's still comfortably oversized. I've now had this coat for two years and still really love it. The quality is great, it is very warm and cosy, and an important detail I've come to appreciate massively is that the pockets are roomy and solid rather than made of flimsy lining material, meaning you can carry your bunch of keys in your pocket without ruining the fabric. Highly recommend!"

"I have wide hips, if you also have wide hips don't size up as other reviews suggest. Unfortunately because there's only one button the bottom half splits open because of my wide hips. However, I did size down so this is on me. I still wear it and it's so warm."
